lowest emissions producing

This facility is a 520 MW natural gas-firing electricy and steam generation station. The location was selected as a result of a positive local environment, proximity to existing transmission lines and natural gas pipelines, and fuel storage facilities. |

This facility is a 343 MW natural gas-fired, combined cycle power generating station, operated by Ennis-Tractebel Power Company, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of GDF SUEZ. Using advanced technology, this facility generates low cost electricity with minimal environmental impact. The electrical output is marketed to wholesale customers within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).

This facility was developed due to the abundance of waste anthractie coal in the Schuylkill County, PA area. The facility consumes more than 560,000 tons of waste coal a year and generates 51 MW of electricity.

This facility is a combined cycle, gas-fired, base loaded facility. Each of the two combustion turbines are equipped with Heat Recovery Steam Generators which produce high pressure steam for production of additional electricity in a steam turbine generator. This facility provides electricity to JCP&L.
